Learn about what will be expected of you as a college-level writer from a writing professor.

The transition from writing in high school to writing as a college student is a challenge for even the strongest recent graduates. This workshop offers college-bound students the chance to get an overview of concepts, expectations, and typical genres of college writing. Participants will learn how to decode assignment prompts and develop a smart writing process, while writing actual college-level papers and receiving feedback on them. Students will also gain insight into reading complex texts, performing research, strategic note-taking, and avoiding accidental plagiarism.
