Who teaches for Golden Line Writing Academy?
All of our instructors are college writing professors with advanced degrees and experience in professional communication.
What kinds of professionals can attend these workshops?
We work with all kinds of professionals and organizations. Sometimes we’ll train a team of individuals with similar roles (for instance, a marketing team, or an IT department), and other times, we work with professionals across roles (as in, participants might include everyone from administrative assistants to the director of business development to the in-house counsel).
How many participants can we have in a workshop session?
These workshops are active and allow for individual feedback from the instructor; therefore, we limit the number of participants to 12 per session. The minimum number of participants is three.
What if I have more than 12 people to train?
Get in touch! We have lots of options to train larger groups.
When and where will the training for my employees be held?
We’ll work with you to schedule workshops around your employees’ time constraints. Typically we come to your office space, but, as many organizations have gone fully remote, we’re happy to secure an external training space if necessary.
Do you offer online or hybrid training?
We do! While most of our sessions take place in person, we’re happy to work with you if virtual or hybrid delivery is a better fit for your organization.
Do you work with the federal government?

I have a disability–can you accommodate me?
Of course! Please get in touch with us to talk about what you need and how we can best help you learn.
How and when do we pay? Invoices are sent by email. Payment is due within 30 days of training delivery, and can be made by check or credit card.
What happens if there’s bad weather?
Golden Line Writing Academy follows the Federal Government for closures. If the government shuts down, we’ll work with you to reschedule your training session.
What happens if we need to cancel a workshop?
We understand that things come up. Organizations can cancel workshop sessions up to a week prior to the scheduled session, or reschedule up to 48 hours before the scheduled session.
